I am getting an error Suggestions on the Zoom website are: during installation The target disk is full. Antivirus software could have quarantined files downloaded by the Zoom installer.
Download the Zoom client installer manually and install it. If the problem persists, get the installer. EndlessWaves Distinguished Member. AirHost appears to be related to Zoom's airplay support so that error message may not be relevant - the code is also different. Is that error at the end of that file? Often the last error is most relevent. That could be down to corrupted data. If you've only downloaded the installer once then try redownloading that. Do you have any other issues with the computer that might suggest you're seeing memory or disk errors?
It could also be a permissions issue. I have tried a number of times to install with the same error each time. The Zoom client was working ok on my laptop a few weeks ago and I haven't knowingly installed or changed anything that I can think of that may have affected this.
I am thinking that perhaps I have had an automatic update of Zoom in the last few weeks? If it's any more help, below are the last few lines rather than the first few, as above from the error file. I get that somebody may have seen the error but I doubt many are running Windows pre 10 that also read here The only issues I have seen are permissions based work restrictions on laptops for example. I have been using the Zoom client successfully on the same laptop Windows 8 successfully since last March start of first lockdown , but for whatever reason it now does not work. I am not sure why I have had to re-install the Zoom client, but it is the re-install that is now giving me the error. I will do a system restore back to early December when it was working and see how that works. Appreciate all the suggestions and comments, especially as the technology I am using as well as my knowledge is a little out of date!
Thanks for all the help with this. I have done a system restore but I still can not get the Zoom install to complete successfully. The error messages in the text file now seem a little clearer and much fewer of them but am still unsure what they mean. Anyone any ideas, please?

I am just trying to install the Zoom Client which I am prompted to do when trying to host a Zoom meeting. The info in the text file is as above, i. I can open a Zoom meeting using the web browser version from Windows but the functionality from this is not quite as good as from the Zoom Client.

I appreciate the response on this and although it is helpful it isn't quite what I am looking for. This inquiry is for a handful of shared computers where our users may not login but once a month with Covid it may be longer now and they already get pretty irritated that they have to wait for the Windows updates to be applied to their user profile, having to update the Zoom client in addition to the user profile is already irritating them as it is.
Any additional suggestions are appreciated. Also, I'd consider a daily restart script on those PCs to process the pending updates without user interaction.

If I right-click on the ZoomInstallerFull. If I right click on any. And if I select "Install" then it doesn't install it in the Program Files folder, and it isn't made available to all users.
